That is totally cold of Denethor. I am very glad that my bit of story did not ruin yours too badly (I hope, and I'm sorry.)

My theory: the more Faramir gets kicked around, the more he needs to be cuddled afterwards. Make sense?
No worries: I had most of this scribbled down in my little black book for months (literally!) - sometimes I just need a little push to finish things.
And things not always going exactly as you planned it is what's fun about these interactive stories. Together you reach places where none of us would have gone on our own. If you don't like that sort of challenge, you might as well go write something alone.
