Yes, I swapped Rivendell and Imladris. My reason for doing so:

From the History of ME:

"To refer to Rivendell as Imladris was to Men and Hobbits as if one now was to speak of Winchester as Camelot. Save that the identity was certain, while in Rivendell there still dwelt a lord of renown older than Arthur would be, were he still living in Winchester today."

This is the Faramir Fanfiction Archive, using Lord of the Rings as our prime source and not the Silmarillion, so let's use the POV of Men, shall we?
(I mention the sources because whenever the term "Imladris" is used in LotR, it is either in relation to the ryhme from Faramir and Boromir's dream or in some historical context, and only 11 times in total; while of course in the Silmarillion "Imladris" is the commonly used term.)

For anyone who prefers calling Rivendell Imladris (or routinely refers to Winchester as Camelot) I am sure there are Gil-galad Fanfiction Archives out there.
