Yes, I do...but the easiest way (for me) of discovering whether I like something, and how it works, is to play with it. I'm not usually one for reading manuals.

By all means, go right ahead.
As long as you realize this may not be permanent.

And also, if any one user would go and enter information for all the characters, that may be a little intimidating for the other users.
Pages like that are nice little projects for first time users, so when you had made two, I thought it best to stop you before you entered them all...

But it seems you're doing very well at it! Check out my edit (think I was still logged in as Admin at the time) of Thorongil - the brackets create the easy links (to Aragorn, Gondor and Rohan) that are the great benefit of this system. That page will also give you the opportunity to have a look at the workings of the history tab.

Enter them all? My net connection tonight's up and down like...an up and down thing the nature of which I won't go into.

Besides which, you flatter me...my knowledge of LotR is reasonably good, but it isn't encyclopaedic - and I would never in seriousness refer to the events of LotR as 'that pesky business with the Ring'! There has to be a better description.
